This is a prototype of BoG(BIM on GIS) system.

The main purpose of this prototype is to integrate in-door and out-door space simultaneously using BIM(Building Information Model) and 3D GIS data. With this system, users can handle and manage the spatial information from the earth scale to office desk scale. Now any kinds of your information is just on your finger tips. This work is co-researched by KICT(Korea Institute of Construction Technology) and Gaia3D, Inc(http://www.gaia3d.com)

This prototype converts IFC(Industry Foundation Class) to G3D format, a patent pending proprietary format that could hold geometry & attribute information simultaneously, for efficient indexing and rendering first. And then users could enjoy fast and various visualization effects including transparency, pulling-out respective story floor and even navigation. Also users can identify and manage the attribute information of each parts. Upper right 2D floor plan is automatically extracted in a semantical way using BIM classes. This is a outcome of BoG(BIM on GIS) project co-researched by KICT(Korea Institute of Construction Technology) and Gaia3D, Inc.(http://www.gaia3d.com)
