2. OldMapsOnline.org

- open source based historical map collections on the web

- http://www.oldmapsonline.org

- IIPImage JPEG2000 : Free-Open source based image server, especially perform well with Linux server

- MapTiler를 이용

- GeoReferencer.org : online tool designed to bookmark, georeference and annotate high resolution images of maps on the web

- GeoReferencer를 이용하면 웹 상에서 이미지 등록, 자르기, KML 생성 등이 가능하여 준 실시간으로 바로 Google earth 등에 서비스

- 웹 상에서 이미지 등록을 일종의 crowdsourcing 방식으로 수행함. 만약 잘못된 control point가 입력되어 있는 경우 다른 사람이 해당 CP를 제거할 수 있음

- 많은 기능들이 아직 부족하고 지원되지 않지만 재밌는 기능과 시도인 것은 확실함.

- 2009년에도 발표했던 사람인데 조금씩 조금씩 발전해 가는 걸 보는 것도 재밌음.

- 근데 한국 같으면 이미 결과 나오고 사업 끝났어야 하지 않나? ㅋㅋ
