- InterDigital, NTP, ForgentNetworks, TechSearch, Acacia Research, Intellectual Ventures(Has over 30,000 patents aiming to become a 'full service invention capital firm'

4. Targets of patent trolls

- during 2003 ~ 2006. 324 patent litigations against major tech firms in Asia and US

- 123 cases against American firms

- 201 cases against Asian firms

5. How do you evaluate these NPEs? Should the government regulate them? What can manufacturing firms such as Samsung do to protect themselves?
