My team at Gaia3D has downloaded the building footprints covering the entire Bangkok area from Overture Maps Foundation and successfully converted them into The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) 3D Tiles using the open-source mago3DTiler (https://github.com/Gaia3D/mago-3d-tiler). The total number of building footprints was approximately 4 million. This showcases the power of openness—an impressive combination of open data (Overture Maps), open standards (OGC 3D Tiles), and open source (mago3DTiler)!
Overture Maps에서 2차원 방콕 건물 데이터 약 4백만건을 다운로드 받아 mago3DTiler를 이용해 OGC 3D Tiles로 변환해 봤습니다. 공개 데이터 X 개방형 표준 X 오픈소스의 결합이 빛을 발하는 대표적 사례입니다.
