가이아쓰리디가 개발한 기상청의 웹 기반 기상정보 3차원 가시화 시스템이 오스트리아 빈에서 열린 EGU 2025 학술대회에서 소개되었습니다. 이번 발표에 대해 여러 국가의 기상청 관계자들이 높은 관심을 보였으며, 특히 중국 기상청에서는 유사한 기술 개발을 시도했지만 실패한 경험이 있다며, 관련 기술적 사항에 대해 구체적이고 심도 있는 질의를 해오기도 했습니다. 세계가 주목하는 3차원 기상 가시화 기술, 앞으로도 가이아쓰리디가 선도해 나가겠습니다.

Forecasters from the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) shared their experience implementing a 3D visualization system for numerical weather prediction (NWP) models at EGU25. The system enables the 3D rendering of gridded model outputs like wind, temperature, and humidity, providing deeper insight into vertical structures and atmospheric dynamics.
