기상청 웹 기반 기상자료 3차원 가시화 시스템의 다른 기능입니다. 2차원 격자자료로 표현된 기압별 풍속 분포를 3차원 등위면(Iso-Wind Surface) 형태로 계산하여 표출하였습니다. 동서남북 방면 클리핑, 단면 보기, 풍속값에 따른 색상 및 투명도 조절 등이 가능합니다.
Here’s another function of the 3D weather data visualization system developed by Gaia3D, Inc. for the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA). We calculated and visualized 3D iso-wind surfaces based on wind speed distribution from 2D gridded data at various pressure levels.
The system supports:
- Directional clipping (north/south/east/west)
- Cross-sectional views
- Wind speed-based color and transparency controls
It helps forecasters better understand wind behavior in three dimensions. Stay tuned for more updates!
