OSGeo Conference Committee에서 사임

오늘로 OSGeo Conference Committee에서 물러납니다. 딱 10년 전 오늘, 아시아 최초의 국제 FOSS4G 대회가 서울에서 개최되었습니다. 당시 저는 대회 조직위원장으로서 The K-Hotel에서 6일간 열린 행사를 지켜보며 행복했고 즐거웠으며 무엇보다 자랑스러웠습니다.

대회 이후 OSGeo Conference Committee 멤버로 활동하며 지난 10년간 다음 FOSS4G 개최지를 선정하고 대회를 지원하는 역할을 맡아 왔습니다. 이제는 충분히 봉사했다고 생각하며 오늘로 제 역할을 내려놓고자 합니다.

Exactly 10 years ago today, FOSS4G 2015 Seoul began with numerous exciting workshops. As the chairperson of the event, I was truly pleased and honored to host such a wonderful gathering in Seoul. Since then, I have had the privilege of serving as a member of the Conference Committee for the past 10 years, a role that has always been one of my proudest honors.

Now, I feel it is time to step down from this duty. My experience feels a bit outdated, and 10 years of service seems more than enough. I look forward to seeing the next generation continue to grow and strengthen the FOSS4G and OSGeo community. May the FOSS4G be with you!
